Bracknell
Ski Slope - This is where I learnt how to snowboard. It is a great
location and the instructors are extremely helpful. If you can get
down there during the week it is usually reasonably quiet and you can make a
fool out of yourself without anybody seeing! |
 |
Snowlife - This
is a great site if you are thinking about or have just started out. It
has a list of where you can snowboard as well as the local retailers if you are
looking to get your own equipment. They can also advise on where to go
on holiday and what the current conditions are like. |
 |
Vans - Well known for
their skate shoes this online shop shows pictures of all the snowboard boots
they produce. I own a pair of Vans and this site helped me to choose
what type of boot I was looking for as well as the colours I wanted my boots
to be. |
 |
Burton - Another great
manufacturer of boards, boots and bindings. You could do worse than
invest in their goods. Can provide for you whether you are a beginner
or expert snowboarder. |
 |
The Snowboard
Asylum - Dotted over the country you can buy equipment or just hire it
if you are going away on holiday. A little pricey but they have expert
staff on hand at all times to give you advice and service. A great all
rounder. |
 |
Ebay - A bit of an
unusual link but if you are looking for a second hand board, (advisable if
you are going to use it on a dry ski slope) then a bargain can often be
found here. Beware of the trade trying to flog goods though.
They are overpriced and you are better buying equipment from a private sale. |
 |
Edge
to Edge - This company hire out equipment for those looking to go on
holiday. They operate a scheme where they sell off their hire items at
substantially discounted prices over the summer. All boards have been
used for a maximum of six weeks and come with a full years warranty.
If you are looking to get some kit then I recommend having a look. |
